Bustanica has opened the doors of the largest hydroponic farm in the world, backed by an investment of 40 million dollars. The facility, located near Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central, is designed to produce more than 1 million kg of high-quality leafy vegetables per year, requiring 95% less water. Bustanica is the first vertical farm for Emirates Crop One, the joint venture between Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), which serves more than 100 airlines, and Crop One, the industry leader in indoor vertical farming.

Bustanica is driven by powerful technology - machine learning, artificial intelligence and advanced methods - and by a highly specialized in-house team that includes agronomy experts, engineers, horticulturists and plant scientists. A continuous production cycle ensures that the products are super fresh and clean and grown without pesticides, herbicides or chemicals.
