Emirates announces the launch of the "Premium economy"

Emirates announces the launch of the "Premium economy" on A380 and B777X. From 4 January on the Dubai - London - Dubai relationship, the new 'Premium economy' cabin installed on the latest Airbus A380 will be inaugurated. It will then be up to five other two-story "sky giants" to have the same configuration. The installation on the Boeing 777X and the retrofit on the entire Airbus 380 fleet are also underway. The new cabin, located in the front part of the main deck and with private bathrooms, has 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. With a full 40-inch pitch, the premium economy seat is upholstered in stain-resistant cream leather with stitching details and a wood finish like in Business Class.

Comfort ensured by 6-position adjustable headrests, calf rests and footrests. Each seat is also equipped with a 13.3-inch Full-HD screen, to enjoy the 4,500 channels of unrivaled range of music, movies, TV, news and other content on Emirates' award-winning ICE. Free Wi-Fi for Emirates member travelers. Also renewed are the "First class Suites", the "Shower Spas" and the "Onboard Lounge" as well as the rooms of the 76 exclusive "Business class" seats. The new "Premium" cabin will debut on January 4th on the Dubai - London - Dubai connection. Emirates currently serves London Heathrow with 5 daily flights, 4 of which are operated with an A380.
