The Armani Group continues its Charity initiatives

The Group's corporate commitment continued with the contribution of the Giorgio Armani boutiquespresent in major cities in Europe and around the world with donations to 52 associations in their area, including Les Restaurants Du coeur in Paris, The Trussel Trust in London, Florence in Japan, China Soong Ching Ling of China. On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, the Group confirms its closeness to these associations, renewing the usual contribution to Opera San Francesco per i Poveri, the well-known and beloved reality in Milan that for more than seventy years, through the canteen of the friars convent Capuchins, offers free meals and many services to the needy and homeless,and to those who are unable to access public assistance.

Added to these initiatives is the contribution to Save the Children for the project in Mozambique dedicated to maternity and neonatal health, which in two years will reach 26,000 adults and 13,000 children. Group executives also decided to participate voluntarily in the donation. The "green" initiatives undertaken are also important: in Milan, Emporio Armani together with the Municipality and Forestami - will support the enhancement and implementation of green areas with the planting of over three hundred trees which will become three million by 2030.
